This allows companies to submit proof of mailing addresses to the USPS in order to protect against the loss, damage, and errors. In order to participate in the standardization process, companies must submit a mailing address validation form to the USPS; however, companies may also choose to participate in the enhanced OGC service level if they can meet the reduced risk requirements. The enhanced OGC service level allows the USPS to standardize on the accuracy of return labels and address verification to significantly reduce loss, damage, and errors and allow the USPS to operate at optimal performance levels.
